Disassembly.

 

Since there is no CAD data available to me, it's time to disassemble and measure individual parts one by one.

Its going to be a tedious process but what else can I do.

 

Before the procedure. The first and the last intact shot it will be.

Front with hands. I like the idea of having cut-outs to show internal detail and adding a bit of coolness.

 

Back with a bit more detail.

Ruby bearing is quite common for all mechanical watches it looks like.

 

Began to disassemble, but not even the smallest bit fitted so I had to trim it to fit...

This told me the scale of the parts that I will be working with. But can't turn back now tho.

 

Finally disassembled (almost) all to individual parts. A few are left attached not wanting to damage them before being able to build 3D model.

 

So, now let the eye-torturing-measurments begin...
